Additional information:

Was also involved with the complete rig fabrication, this includes: fabrication of parts of the frame, mounting and plumbing the hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fabrication of an additional "camera platform", adding a shaker motor, and more - it was a really fun project!
The triple telescoping cylinders on either side of the ramp are purely for show, all the gubbins were within the walls of the ship (it was quite a tight fit)

SKILLS USED: Metal fabrication (cutting, grinding, turning, milling, MIG welding), pneumatics, and hydraulics

Not the guy with the fire here - I was behind the ship running the CO2.

Fun Fact: They used the same ship (with the back removed) for Rogue One. I was only on that project for the first week of the shoot - filling in time between projects but it was nice to see the ship again.
